MATR: Pioneer in Sustainable Circular Economy
MATR, an Austrian company specializing in circular economy solutions, was recently honoured by the Austrian Minister for Climate and the GEWINN business magazine as a climate and entrepreneur champion. This success was further highlighted by winning the ‘Energy and Environment’ category at the Young Entrepreneurs Competition 2023. The recognition by the Climate Ministry underscores the importance of innovative, sustainable solutions for a waste-free future.

On Monday evening, we were honoured to be invited to VERBUND AG’s headquarters in Vienna for the 2023 Young Entrepreneurs Competition where we were crowned 2023 winners in the ‘Energy and Environment’ category, sponsored by the Austrian Climate Ministry. Being recognised by the Ministry for our circular economy solution is something we are incredibly proud of. It makes the many high’s and low’s of our journey worth it, and motivates us for our path ahead towards a #wastfree future.

Sheyn: From Austria to the MoMA Design Store
The Austrian company Sheyn, led by CEO Markus Schaffer, has achieved remarkable success: Their Tree Ornaments are now available at the prestigious MoMA Design Store in New York. This presence in the Museum of Modern Art marks a significant milestone for the company and showcases the international recognition of Austrian design.
