Lorenz Consult achieves 61% Revenue Growth
Lorenz Consult, a long-term valued client of Konsultori, saw a remarkable revenue increase from €7.7M in 2022 to €12.4M in 2023. A major labour construction project, successful acquisitions, and key projects such as the third phase of the Chirurgy at Graz University Hospital drove this growth. With over 60 employees across four locations, Lorenz Consult continues to excel as a leading general planner. Their commitment to teamwork and technical excellence remains a cornerstone of success as they look forward to more ambitious projects. What makes them so successful?
The cohesion of our employees and learning as a team. But our core competencies in the cleanroom, plant-intensive industry, logistics and healthcare sectors are also crucial to our success. We look for and apply for projects that are technologically demanding and correspondingly complex in their formulation and implementation. Floodlight Expands to Europe
Floodlight, a Vienna Startup Package 2023 company, has established a new branch in Vienna to serve the EU market, supported by Petra Wolkenstein’s market entry coaching.
Floodlight is at COP29 Azerbaijan this week and is proud to announce a series of collaborations that exemplify how different organizations can use geo-spatial data, and A.I. enabled analysis to make meaningful changes that accomplish much larger goals. We are so proud of the work we did with Amstetten and would like to thank Christoph Sandler & Johannes Naimer-Stach for their dedication to quality, and key intelligence provided throughout the project.
Floodlight aims to transform ESG reporting with precise real-time emissions data, leveraging satellite imagery from NASA, ESA, and Planet Labs, combined with AI-driven analysis. With a focus on combating greenwashing, Floodlight aims to set new standards in sustainability reporting in both the U.S. and Europe.
MATR: Wins, Investments, and global ambitions!
We’re happy to see MATR making waves in the sustainable economy! The startup recently secured recognition in multiple areas:
- At the Generali Austria SME EnterPRIZE, MATR won the Startup Special Category, earning a €3,000 prize for driving sustainable innovation in the hotel and retail sectors.
- Greiner Innoventures expanded its investment in MATR to support its mission of offering sustainable mattresses that can be refurbished, reused, or recycled.
With these achievements and continued growth, MATR is set to scale internationally.
We’ve built a strong foundation in the Austrian hotel sector and have already made significant progress in Germany. Now, our goal is to expand further internationally and explore opportunities in the retail market as well.
Minimist Secures €350K Pre-Seed Funding!
Congratulations to the Vienna-based Machine Learning startup Minimist on closing a €350,000 pre-seed funding round! Founded in 2024 by ex-Google and Spotify product manager Stephan Hofmann and serial entrepreneur Henrik Feldt, Minimist uses cutting-edge AI to optimize the sales process for second-hand stores and sellers. With notable investors like Eversports founder Hanno Lippitsch and ex-Bitpanda CMO Michael Pötscher, Minimist is set to transform the second-hand market in Europe.
Congratulations to Stephan Hofmann and the Minimist team on successfully closing their fundraising round! It was a privilege to support them during the preparation phase, helping to refine their pitch, financial modeling, and investor strategy. Their dedication and strategic approach were key to achieving this significant milestone.
