Simply brilliant – Miss Excel’s courses

Her LinkedIn profile shows her as Kat Norton, but the world knows her as Miss Excel. The successful businesswoman developed an online course, marketed it on her TikTok channel and made a fortune with it. How did she manage to achieve such success with so few resources? What does this unconventional businesswoman think about business? Get to know her better in this interview.

Above all, her courses introduce students to the world of Excel quickly and effectively. This is of great importance for entrepreneurs, as it is impossible to imagine today’s business world without this tool. As Excel is constantly evolving, Miss Excel is an inexhaustible source of knowledge for anyone who needs it. And all in an entertaining way.

How we use our time efficiently – the four tiers of engagement

As a startup founder, it is particularly important to stay focused and productive, also about many of the opportunities that present themselves along the entrepreneurial path. In an environment where many new, exciting opportunities arise and the social network continues to grow, it is necessary to use your time, resources and capital efficiently and wisely. Find out how best to do this and what Reid Hoffman (co-founder of Linkedin) learned about it in Silicon Valley here.

Using fear as a driving force

“In a world where up to 90% of startups fail, the most enduring visionaries will push through, energized by the idea of experiencing freedom and success alongside the 10% who beat the odds.” Find out how to turn the fear of failure and eternal brooding into a competitive advantage with four simple steps here. We are very inspired.

Presenting ideas properly

Pitching creative ideas is often not easy. In an interview with Kathy Caprino, Nancy Duarte explains how you can still present your idea in the right way:

Putting yourself in the audience’s shoes: Trying to perceive your presentation from the audience’s point of view.

Use the environment: Especially with creative topics, it is important not to approach the presentation completely analytically from the outset. Move away from your desk and let your thoughts run free somewhere else.

Think: Try to imagine how your audience will react to your content and think about how you can best touch and reach the target group.

Strike out ideas: Brainstorming processes generate lots of different ideas over time. But reduce them again – less is more.

Let the images speak for themselves: No matter what content you are presenting – the motto “a picture is worth a thousand words” also applies here!

The advantages of flexible work scheduling

More and more employees prefer jobs that offer them free time management and flexible working hours. This does not necessarily mean that they have to work from home every day: “Flexibility means I can control my time so I’m not stuck in meetings from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., I know what work I need to do, and you will trust me to get it done,” says Romy Newman, co-founder of FairyGodBoss. Pioneers in this area are currently Dropbox, Asana and Dell. At konsultori, we have been working in the same way since the beginning.

When the working day has only 5 hours…
